Regents Diploma Prep

Teen Club began in the fall of 1993. As kids grew to be too old for Homework Club, Teen Club was created to be a place where older kids could hang out, have tons of fun, be safe, learn how to struggle through the harsh reality of life and mostly to hear about God’s love.

Teen Club met every Tuesday night for 17 years. At the end of it’s “hay day” up to 70 teens were involved. The staff began to question if the size of the group was a deterrent to what we were trying to do. In the recent years Teen Club has been evolving as more of a small group. Last year [2009/10] we combined our effort with Renovation Church’s teen programming.

This year, Teen Club has become “Regents Prep.” Now teens can come in four days a week and receive crucial one on one tutoring to help them in the often difficult school lessons and daily mentoring in the hard lessons of life.
